Creating healthy, nutrient rich, raw meaty meals for your pets.

Raw is a positive approach to your dogs health and well being.  With a balanced raw diet it can help(not cure) with such issues as weight gain, weight loss, allergic reactions, digestive issues, whiten teeth and more. Raw is 100% natural, no fillers chemicals or bi-products. Your pets coat will appear more shiny, full, and lessen bad dandruff and bad shedding. Raw has no added sugars or salts or starch's.  Starch is a leading cause in pet allergies and yeast growth!

One of the biggest questions out there is: is raw safe?  The answer is YES!, Raw meaty bones are natures tooth brush and filled with nutrients from the marrow, meat and organ. They are 100% completely safe fed raw, ( you should never feed cooked or smocked bones ). Whether you feed a bone to keep your dogs teeth white, or feed bones with a balanced raw diet, your pets will love them!  The PH in your dog and cats saliva is a lot higher then your own and keeps their mouth and digestive system clean and in working order.

Is it balanced?                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Raw meals can be perfectly balanced with proper introduction and follow thru.  Variety is key! Whether you feed a mixture of red and white meat, finding what works best for you and your pet is our goal. We recommend feeding at least one white meat protein and one red meat protein. If your pet has allergies and can only be fed one protein it is highly recommended to use a complete supplement. Do they need vegetables? It depends on what and how you are feeding raw, but if followed thru a correct prey model based diet the answer is no, a complete diet can be achieved without them; we do encourage all ways of feeding a BARF diet and point out if feeding veggies always cook for puree them so your dog can digest them, as their teeth do not crush them as ours do and their body does not break down the cellulose walls of the vegetable without aid.  Cats are obligate carnivores which means they DO NOT need vegetables in their diet at all.

Will my Dog or Cat get all the nutrients he needs?                                                                                                                                                                   Yes!, most frequently asked is where the nutrients come from? such as the most popular brought up L-carnitine.  in kibble this is pushed with corn whey, which is not needed in your carnivores diets. Red meat is FULL of this and it doesn't have to be cooked or ground down to be digestible either! Vitamins A, B1, B2, C, D, E, K are all found in rich organ meat.  Minerals such and Calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, zinc can all be found inside of raw meaty bones!( muscle meat and bone included).  ( SEE OUR nutrition information page )

Can you get Salmonella?                                                                                                                                                                                                    With proper practice just the same as you would with handling your own meat there is limited chance. Your pets mouth and stomache acids are designed to break down raw meat and digest it faster then we can, that means salmonella doesn't get a chance to grow inside your pets mouth or stomach.   Salmonella is often found in old or processed meats, and commonly found in dog poop, raw or kibble fed. Raw meat should ALWAYS stay frozen until use or be in the fridge for 48hours. Bowls should be washed and the area your pet has eaten in cleaned.
